Fly-Fishing Tuition
I am a qualified casting instructor in fly-fishing, holding a STANIC certificate (Salmon and Trout Association National Instructors Certificate) in Trout and Fly-Dressing.
For somebody just starting off in fly-fishing lessons are of the utmost advantage, any mistakes will be eradicated at an early stage and ensure that the person is doing everything correctly.
Lessons are carried out on an hourly basis and the minimum required is a couple of hours. If I feel that after that the person has reached a competent level we can then go to a small lake 7 miles from Cornamona and put the theory into practice. This lake has a large population of small wild Brown Trout, average length 8-10'', they give a great chance for the learner to catch their first wild Brownie on fly.
