Boat Hire
Boats and engines are available for hire from my own harbour. They are 19'(5.8mt) lake boats equipped with 4hp outboard engines.
Safety
Boats will only be hired out to people who have experience with such craft and outboards. If there is severe weather or such weather forecast boats will not be hired out. Lifejackets are now compulsory for anyone going out on the lake.
Accommodation
Accommodation can be arranged locally. This ranges from full board, bed and breakfast to self-catering houses and apartments.
Nearby is Grasshopper Cottage(500mts), this internationally renowned fishing lodge is one the foremost angling centres in the West of Ireland. They have been keeping visiting anglers happy for over 15 years and because they deal primarily with anglers, fully understand their requirements.
There are self catering houses to let in the area, these are normally let on a weekly basis, some are adjacent to the lake while others are adjacent to the village of Cornamona which has 2 pubs, a shop, restaurant and post office. There is B&B accommodation available in the village and this is within 100 mts. of both pubs.
